NSRS WG Meeting at GeoWeek2024

The ASPRS NSRS Modernization Program Working Group held an inaugural meeting on January 16, 2024 to begin the important task of educating the industry on the NGS initiative to replace all three North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83) frames and all vertical datums (including the North American Vertical Datum of 1988) with four new terrestrial reference frames and a geopotential datum.

To participate in the Working Group and receive links to future meetings, please do the following:

1) Login to https://community.asprs.org with your MyASPRS account credentials.

a. If you do not have a MyASPRS account, you can create one here either as a member (annual fee) or a guest (free).

2) On the Community Home Page, select Participate > Join a Community

3) Set the Community Type filter to All Communities for a complete list.

4) Find WG – PAD – NSRS Modernization – Public in the list. Click the blue button to JOIN.
