  • 1.  LWG meeting today! (May 15 2025)

    Apologies for the late notice... I thought I had scheduled this post. The May 2025 LWG meeting is TODAY, Thursday 5/15 at 11:00am PST / 2:00pm EST. Zoom info is on the event page and repeated below at the end of this post. I expect to review public comments on the LAS 1.4 R16 draft and LAS 1.5 draft, both of which have been open for public comments.

    1. April 9, 2025: Begin LAS 1.4 R16 public comment period.
    2. April 17, 2025: LWG meeting: Review LAS 1.4 R16 public comments and review LAS 1.5.
    3. April 23, 2025: Begin LAS 1.5 public comment period.
    4. May 15 2025: End LAS 1.4 R16 public comment period. 
    5. May 15, 2025: LWG meeting: Integrate public comments and prepare for publication.
    6. May 30, 2025: End LAS 1.5 public comment period.
    7. May 2025: Submit final LAS 1.4 R16 draft for ASPRS Board approval.
    8. June 2025: Final publication of LAS 1.4 R16. Submit final LAS 1.5 draft for ASPRS Board approval.
    9. July 2025: Final publication of LAS 1.5.
    10. Q3 2025: Submit to OGC for endorsement/publication.

    I expect this one will be on the shorter side. Hope to see you there!
