ASPRS Mid-South Region Microlearning Competition 2022
The ASPRS Mid-South region sponsored a microlearning competition! The competition required entrants to produce a video of 2-5 minutes in length that performs one of the following:
- explains a concept from photogrammetry or remote sensing (e.g. “Let me explain shadow layover from SAR imagery”)
- teaches how to do something in photogrammetry or remote sensing (e.g. “this is how you accurately apply NDVI to an image”)
- provides some insight into photogrammetry and/or remote sensing that could be artistic or scientific in nature.
We were very pleased to receive 10 entries from around the world. Every person, ASPRS member or not, was eligible to win the cash prizes or free ASPRS membership. The top three winners are listed below.
We look forward to posting all the participant videos on this regional microsite to spotlight their excellent work.
We thank everyone who participated and showed interest. Thank you in particular to the 4 person judging panel who did an excellent and timely job.
We look forward to hosting future competitions with cash prizes in the future to showcase the research and engineering that you all are doing in the community.
