Bio

I’m a graduate student in Geoinformatics with a focus on applying GIS, remote sensing, and field-based research to environmental problem-solving. My current work centers on wetland methane flux analysis, UAV-based ecological monitoring, and sustainable land management—grounded in scientific communication and real-world application.

What drives me is more than data. I’m motivated by the potential to connect people—students, scientists, and communities—with the tools and insights geospatial science offers. I’ve carved out opportunities not just for myself, but for peers who deserve a seat at the table. Outreach, mentorship, and bridge-building across disciplines and backgrounds are central to how I approach leadership in this field.

When I’m not working on a map or out in the field, you’ll find me fishing Kentucky’s waterways, hiking in the woods, or cooking up something bold in the kitchen! I bring the same curiosity and energy to those hobbies as I do to my research, always chasing the next challenge, whether it’s catching a bass or building a better story with spatial data.
