Brenna Fowler is a recent graduate from San Diego State University (SDSU) and the previous Vice President of SDSU’s student chapter. Brenna joined the SDSU Geography department after obtaining her Bachelor's in Environmental Studies at San Francisco State and working in field ecology and drone operations for the University of Hawai'i. Her master’s thesis focused on using Structure from Motion photogrammetry, satellite spectral indices, and GIS tools to study habitat structure in payments for ecosystem services zones in Chitwan, Nepal.
Brenna is currently working for ChangeAerial LLC, helping in the development of inspection and machine learning capabilities for electric utilities.
She strives to continue her career in remote sensing and geospatial science by participating once again in ASPRS leadership opportunities as one of the Pacific Southwest Regional Directors.
