Scott R. Perkins, Business Development Director, Prairie Engineers, P.C.
Mr. Perkins has 30+ years of experience in the surveying, mapping and geospatial profession.
Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and an Associate’s Degree in Photogrammetric Mapping Technology. He is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP) and a FAA sUAS Remote Pilot.
He was selected for federal appointment to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – Hydrographic Services Review Panel (NOAA – HSRP) Federal Advisory Committee and to the Small Business Administration (SBA) Regulatory Fairness Board for Region VII, both appointments required White House approval.
His experience with NOAA’s Office of Coast Survey provided him with a thorough understanding of the challenges encountered performing hydrographic surveys of the waters and shorelines of the US.
Scott enjoys kayaking & canoeing and is a five-time participant in the MR-340 canoe race from KC to St Louis, distancing 340 miles on the Missouri River it is the longest continuous paddle event in North America.
