Bio

I am a research photogrammetrist and C++ developer with 20 years of experience in Geospatial Sciences and development. My work at Oak Ridge National Lab includes dense image matching, automatic image registration, HPC acceleration, camera calibration, and digital twins. During my time at Johnson Space Flight Center, I received awards for performing the first real-time application of photogrammetry in support of International Space Station mission decisions and for outstanding imagery and debris analysis that resulted in the safe return of Space Shuttle Endeavor. At the US Geological Survey, I wrote satellite sensor models and mapped potential landing sites on the moon. On the commercial side, I was the lead technical developer of the VR Mapping Software and of Bird1, a drone based augmented reality asset management package.
