Bio

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Wyoming. My study hydrology science with the background in remote sensing and GIS. My current research focuses on understanding climate change impacts on flash flood events through advanced statistical approaches. Firstly, I examine how climate change alters extreme precipitation patterns through Monte Carlo simulation. Secondly, I performed attribution analysis to determine whether the probability of flash flood events has changed over time. Finally, the transitions in extreme precipitation patterns are linked to the observed flash flood patterns to better understand how the climate impact on extreme precipitation affects flash flood events. This methodology allows me to quantify temporal changes across eight diverse inland urban watersheds between 1996 and 2023. This research contributes to our understanding of climate change impacts and provides insights for developing locally tailored flood management strategies.
