Matt is a senior project manager within the Aerial Mapping Group in the Geospatial Division. He is dedicated to overseeing all aspects of high accuracy lidar and photogrammetric projects for multiple departments of transportation (DOTs). Matt oversees all aspects of these projects from start to finish to ensure that accuracy requirements and specifications are exceeded for these highly detailed projects.
Matt joined Ayres in 2000 as a photogrammetric technician and became the supervisor of Ayres’ lidar and GIS services in 2003. As supervisor, Matt oversaw all mobile & aerial lidar services for DOT projects. He was responsible for supervising the technical staff, conducting QA/QC, and preparing final deliverables for all DOT projects. He has significant experience with Engineering and Surveying specifications and has led efforts to merge conventional survey, lidar and photogrammetric data into the CAD environments to create surfaces using these distinct technologies. Additionally, he has experience processing lidar from static lidar and aerial UAS systems.
