The IEEE Geospatial Standards for Earth Observation Technical Committee invites you to participate in the newly formed EO Global LIDAR Study Group. The primary objective for this Study Group is to explore the need for standardized global Earth Observation (EO) LiDAR point cloud product exchange and web service formats. You are invited to participate in the Study Group as an existing member of the IEEE GSEO TC, a recognized subject matter expert, or an individual who has expressed an explicit interest. A detailed description of the Study Group is attached to this message.
The first Study Group meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 9th, at 3pm Eastern Time. Subsequent meetings are tentatively scheduled for the first Thursday of each month at 3pm Eastern Time. ICS meeting notices are attached to this email.
