Thanks to the group for a good meeting this month! In attendance included Barry Miller, Howard Butler, Jessica Shoffner, Matt Bethel, and me. Topics covered:

    1. LAS 1.5 and LAS 1.4 R16 have been published! Here are some links for accessing the final PDFs:
    2. Looking at shifting the meeting cadence to quarterly starting after GeoWeek, 2026.
    3. Howard suggested that the LWG engage with the Gaussian splat community, which is exploring a lot of the same lessons that LAS 2.0 had explored.
    4. Updates to the wiki:
    5. Discussed plans for HTML version of the LAS specification and where to host it. Prototype was made by Howard and hosted here: https://asprslas.org/en/latest/
    6. Finally, we did some significant house-cleaning of the branches of the GitHub repository, including changing the default branch and deleting all dangling issue branches. Anyone with a fork of the repository should consider resetting their fork to match, given the number of changes.

Zoom link to the recording is here. Our next meeting will be on October 16, 2025. See you then!
