  • 1.  LWG meeting TOMORROW (July 17 2025)

    Apologies for the late reminder... The July 2025 LWG meeting is scheduled for TOMORROW Thursday 7/17 at 11:00am PDT / 2:00pm EDT. Zoom info is on the event page and repeated below at the end of this post. I expect to provide an update on the LAS 1.4 R16 draft and review the public comments on the LAS 1.5 draft.

    1. April 23, 2025: Begin LAS 1.5 public comment period.
    2. May 30, 2025: End LAS 1.5 public comment period.
    3. May 2025: Submit final LAS 1.4 R16 draft for ASPRS Board approval.
    4. June 19, 2025: LWG meeting: Integrate LAS 1.5 public comments and prepare for publication.
    5. June 2025: Final publication of LAS 1.4 R16?
    6. July 17, 2025: LWG meeting: LAS 1.5 final review. 
    7. July 2025: Submit final LAS 1.5 draft for ASPRS Board approval.
    8. August 2025: Final publication of LAS 1.5.
    9. August 21, 2025: Open ticket discussions, HTML-format publication.
    10. September 18, 2025: Open ticket discussions. Final meeting for 2025?
    11. Q3/Q4 2025: Submit to OGC for endorsement/publication.
