The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is pleased to announce the 2025 International Technical Symposium.
Building on the success of last years conference, we are excited to announce the 2025 International Technical Symposium (ITS) and the exciting new additions to the program format. The symposium will take place October 27-30, 2025 and will be virtual.
We are including the most popular aspects of prior years’ conferences:
- Oral presentations
- Poster presentations
- ASPRS sponsored hot topic sessions
- Product/project showcase presentations by ASPRS Sustaining Members
- Paper and participation awards
In 2025, we are doing things differently!
This is an interactive online event. One week before the live event, presentation recordings will be posted to the Symposium website for public viewing. Viewers will be able to preview the presentations, post comments and questions, and vote on their favorite presentations using the website interface. During the live Symposium, there will be interactive sessions with authors where they can give a brief overview, answer questions, and engage in discussion. Presentation and discussion participation awards will be announced during the conference.
In addition, ASPRS Working Groups and invited experts will present live hot topic discussions highlighting progress on key geospatial industry initiatives, standards, and practices.
Our Sustaining Members will be offered the opportunity to host live product previews in addition to posting content on the website for attendees to browse on their own schedule.
The Symposium website will be free and open to all to browse in advance, beginning Monday October 20, one week before the live event. During this time, attendees can
- Watch uploaded presentations
- View posters
- View materials shared by event sponsors
- Post questions for authors (MyASPRS login required)
During the live event, which will run from Monday October 27 to Thursday October 30, there will be
- Discussion sessions with authors of uploaded presentations and posters
- Panel discussions led by ASPRS Divisions, Committees and Working Groups
- State-of-the-art technology showcases given by ASPRS Sustaining Member sponsors
MyASPRS guest or member login will be required to access live streaming sessions, post comments, and interact with other attendees.
The Symposium website will remain open in view-only mode after the live event.
