The Chapter Liaison Committee is Co-Chaired by the Chapter Liaison Co-Chair and Student Chapter Liaison Co-Chair, who both serve as voting members of the Executive Board. The Chapter Liaison Committee maintains clear lines of communication with the active Chapters, actively seeks and assists in the development of new Chapters within the region, receives and reviews the Chapter budget requests, and advises the Executive Board on Chapter issues. The Student Chapter Liaison Co-Chair ensures this specifically for the Region Student Chapters.
Chapters are sub-elements of the Region, established as necessary by the Region to improve Society support to their members and to encourage local participation in Society activities. All Chapter members shall be members in good standing of the Society and members of the Region.
